I'm not a doctor, medical professional, or trained therapist. I'm a researcher and pragmatic biohacking practitioner exercising free speech to share evidence as I find it. I make no claims. Please practice skepticism and rational critical thinking. You should consult a professional about any serious decisions that you might make about your health. The Immortality Institute (aka Longecity.org forum) is the most popular online community of Biohackers and transhumanists. Their mission is to end the blight of involuntary death.
If you've ever wondered if there was a scientific community online where you can get your difficult questions answered and get respectful yet critical feedback on your Biohacking efforts I have good news for you, the Longecity community is precisely that! Serious Biohackers hang out there discussing what they are doing and the latest performance and antiaging science, it is one of my very best resources. If you see value in crowdsourcing you'll want to join Longecity.org and be sure to connect with me.
In my opinion, it's the best Biohacker forum on the internet
A lot of times there will be some exotic ostensibly Nootropic molecule, that I will Google, and a bunch of hypey, salesy blog articles come up, but then I will search the discussions of it on Longecity and I will find legitimate researchers, scientists, and Ph.D. students discussing nuances of its mechanism, study findings, and potential downsides that the bloggers were totally oblivious to.
Check out my interview with Justin Loew of Longecity.org...
We discuss the state of transhumanism, anti-aging, and low-risk Biohacking strategies along with how to support and get involved with the emerging science of immortality.
Update
The internet (and the world) has changed A LOT since I interviewed Justin. I have to applaud him and the rest of the moderation team at Longecity for striking a delicate balance and creating a rare (in the current year) online space where free speech is respected and a high level of rational, skeptical scientific discourse is maintained. They have not acquiesced to stylish political correctness and modern dogmatic thinking but they also have not let Longecity devolve into a conspiracy theory echo chamber rife with spam and grift. It turns out that when you gather smart people, cultivate the discussion a little, and let people speak freely the resulting conversations are moderate, reasonable, and productive.
Join and support the Longecity forum, I know of few places on the internet as well-managed!
