I was most pleased to receive the FlexBeam with no import office headache from the fine folks in Scandinavia that produce it...

The eWM Classic mode is my favorite and closest to the original N-Back task, with the N-back box replaced with faces with a variety of expressions. The verbal data you need to store in your working memory is sprinkled with emotional phrases: hammer, door, hate, auto, rape, bird, circus, smile...
You have to purposefully ignore the emotional data and just record the audio and visual sequences in the RAM of your mind.

I've done brain training for three years now, and this app is significantly more challenging than anything I've tried before. In HighIQPro, my best performance was 7-back, and I regularly trained in the 5-back range and sometimes even higher. Yet right now, I'm doing the emotional n-back training mode, and I'm finding that I can barely make it to 5-back.

I downloaded HighIQPro, installed it, and launched the application. I began the first N-back exercise (of course, without reading any instructions!) and was immediately confused by a screen that a blinking red square sporadically appeared on. Not sure what to do I exited this game and went back to the main screen where I clicked the help icon.
This took me to a page on the HighIQPro website that instructed me to first take an IQ test and a Jouve-Cerebrals Test of Induction (JCTI) fluid intelligence test. I took a free 40-minute IQ test and scored 100. So as of May 1, 2012, I have a perfectly average IQ score for an American, I guess that makes me an ideal test subject for this case study. After the IQ test, I was a little frazzled, so I slept for a night before taking the JCTI test. I found the JCTI a little more challenging but ended up scoring 102, so I'm pretty damn average!

The IC Pad is an infoceutical imprinter by Infopathy - it uses electromagnetism and a trippy flashing light to "download" into water almost ANY drug, pharmaceutical, or supplement. It teases the possibility of decentralizing and open-sourcing both the pharmaceutical and supplement industries.
Skeptical? So was I!

An app that turns your phone into a surprisingly effective sleep optimization device.
I'm a little late to the sleep-hacking party. For some reason, I was a little reluctant to start quantifying my sleep. However, I kept hearing about the sleep cycle app from people like Dave Asprey and Pat Flynn. I finally paid the $2 and downloaded it. I'm glad I tried it! It does improve your sleep. I'm a person that's always kind of had issues with waking up on time. I would just hit the snooze button chronically, this has caused me to fail some classes and lose some jobs.

Update: Unfortunately I had to reduce my review of my eye-catching Bitcoin diffuser from five stars to two because of the shoddy product quality and customer service. One evening I accidentally bumped it off my desk, it fell a very short distance onto my carpeted floor, and the glass reservoir vessel burst into a thousand tiny little shards (some of which I suspect are still lurking in my carpet, just waiting for my bare feet!) I emailed Organic Aromas as I'd had the diffuser for less than a year and I assumed that there must have been some sort of warranty. They responded by apologizing and letting me know that I could buy another (extremely fragile) glass reservoir for about $20 from them. Which I really wouldn't mind doing IF it were a $20 or $30 product but this is a $125 product and it should be able to survive a 1-meter fall. Of course, I told them that this was unacceptable; that a +$100 product should be robust and drop-tested, or at least come with a 12-month warranty. I diplomatically suggested to them that for a product at this price point, they really should be using some sort of shatter-resistant glass. They said they were looking into the shatter-resistant glass and agreed to send me another glass reservoir free of charge but apparently, they couldn't send it at the time because my COVID had disrupted shipping to my country.

I just received an awesome new water hacking tool, the Analemma Water wand - It's one of the more aesthetically pleasing biohacks I've gotten my hands on!
My friend Yogi Blair has been using, researching, and is very enthusiastic about this stem cell biohack. What follows is his experience with LifeWave's X39. Reading his grandiose, poetic words describing his transformative experience, I wouldn't blame you for being a little skeptical and thinking, This sounds like yet another placebo-effect dependant product! And I might agree with you, science is increasingly understanding that the placebo effect is a downstream effect of our stem cells and epigenetic function. The placebo effect is how our bodies heal themselves, thus you would expect something that empowers our stem cells to potentiate the invigorating and healing power of belief. Check out the podcast interview I did with Blair here, he is a very knowledgeable Biohacker, drop him an email or Facebook message if you have any questions about this stem cell technology. - LimitlessMindset.com Editor, Jonathan Roseland

emWave® technology is based on 20 years of research on the mindset state of “coherence” between the heart, brain, and autonomic nervous system. Achieving coherence, basically feeling zenned-out, has been linked to mental, emotional, and physical benefits like decreased stress levels.
