Biohacker Review: A Full-Spectrum Yellow Herb
Lately, Pine Pollen has been adding some extra Adaptogenic awesomeness to my steaming cup of Adaptogenic tea. Frankly, I'm not sure what direct effects I can credit to the Pine Pollen. I was using it alongside other Adaptogens and mushrooms, Schisandra, Chaga, Cordyceps, and Horny Goat Weed.
- Taking these herbs I stayed healthy during the chilly Eastern European winter (and managed not to get Coronavirus!)
- The other major benefit I credit to these herbs is libido enhancement. The chief challenge in marriage (or long-term relationships) is keeping the flame alive. Staying excited about getting naked together. Sex often becomes a chore as the years go by, even for otherwise healthy, younger couples. I wake up every morning excited to see my wife.
- Powdered it doesn't taste bad, in fact, it doesn't taste like much. It has a pleasant subtle scent.
- I wouldn't categorize Pine Pollen as a classic Nootropic, I don't note much of an uptick in my cognition, problem-solving, and energy levels on it.
Based on the science, I regard it as an enabler of antifragility.
Summary of Pine Pollen Science
On Pubmed, you can find +500 scientific papers referencing Pine Pollen although it lacks human clinical trials. I'll summarize some of the recent interesting findings...
An American study of 50 people suggests a synergy with Vitamin C, it reduced migraines by 50%. The study concluded
These data suggest that the antioxidant therapy used in this study may be beneficial in the treatment of migraine possibly reducing headache frequency and severity.
A recent Chinese study found it reversed the aging phenotypes in mice via an antioxidant antiaging mechanism, it concluded
Our finding presents pine pollen as an attractive agent with potential to retard aging and attenuate age-related diseases in humans.
Czech and South Korean studies suggest an anti-cancer effect.
A Spanish study notes that Pine pollen should be considered as a potential allergenic pollen - if you're allergic to pine you might not want to use this stuff, in fact, I think it's a good idea to start at a low dosage and discontinue if you notice red eyes, itchy throat, and runny nose.
Lost Empire Herbs has organized probably the best article on the net about Pine Pollen, here. They point out that Pine Pollen is recommended for men over 30 years old, if that's not you, try other Adaptogenic herbs.
Purity is a concern with Nutraceuticals
Nutraceuticals come from the natural world, they tend to absorb the toxins in the environment around them, making many of the herbal supplements that you might find possibly Iatrogenic - they may actually do you more harm than good. This is why I wouldn't buy any old Pine Pollen that I found on store shelves or online, especially if it's cheap. I'd also prefer not to get my Pine Pollen in a "multi-vitamin" stack that combines it with a bunch of other things unless they prove its purity with a certificate of analysis. I enthusiastically recommend Lost Empire Herbs as they have the highest standards in the industry for quality assurance and purity testing.

Downloadable Pine Pollen?
You may be interested in taking it as an infocuetical - a non-pharmacological, side-effect-free version of the drug that takes advantage of the phenomenon of water memory - which is imprinted on water via quantum collocation and electromagnetism using this device...
Infocueticals typically have 1/3 or half the effect of the actual medicine being imprinted. If you're skeptical of Infopathy that's understandable, it's a game-changing application of a little-known scientific phenomenon. But I'd urge you to evaluate the scientific evidence (presented in my biohacker review) that downloadable medicine is no longer science fiction...
