It shouldn't be news to you that smartphones and social media have A LOT to do with breakups, heartbreak, divorce, domestic discord, and infidelity in the current year. From uncontesteddivorceny.net
According to a study conducted by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), more than 80% of divorce attorneys have reported a significant increase in the use of social media as evidence in divorce cases, particularly among Facebook users. The study also found that social media use was cited as a reason for divorce in one-third of all cases surveyed, especially among married couples.
James J. Sexton, a $600/hour New York divorce attorney wrote in his excellent book...
Facebook is the single greatest breeding ground ever for infidelity. Nothing that has come before—not swingers’ clubs and key parties, not chat rooms, not workplace temptations, not Ashley Madison, Tinder, or Grindr; no, not even porn—comes within a thousand miles.
If I had a dollar for every divorce caused by infidelity that started on Facebook, I would have … well, just about the same amount of money I have. Bless you, Mark Zuckerberg.
And I know what you're thinking...
I'm a disciplined, committed husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend. I wouldn't cheat on my partner because I love them and have the best of faithful intentions. I'm satisfied with my partner and the commitment I made to them is ultimately what keeps me loyal.
But this is naive, old-fashioned thinking and may very well NOT be enough.

I highly recommend reading two books at a time. Usually something fiction and something non-fiction.
Not only will it satisfy a bit of your appetite for novelty, but it will also really stimulate your ability to synthesize big ideas.

There's a lifehacking/Biohacking domain that's been perhaps more rewarding for me than any other.
It's consistently made my life better and better for over a decade now. It's a topic I've researched and self-experimented with exhaustively, enjoying surprising benefits as I learned, self-experimented, and habituated more. And of course, it's a topic I've done a fair amount of writing and content about. But I'm demotivated and I think I'm done spreading the good news about this topic.

I'm not a doctor, medical professional, or trained therapist. I'm a researcher and pragmatic biohacking practitioner exercising free speech to share evidence as I find it. I make no claims. Please practice skepticism and rational critical thinking. You should consult a professional about any serious decisions that you might make about your health.
