If your objective is to become an interesting conversationalist, tricks and techniques will only get you so far. At some point, you actually need to choose to become a more interesting person.
I'll be the first to admit that being an interesting person is just about as subjective and generalized a description you can make about a person. It's like saying that someone is smart. Well, there are a lot of different forms of intelligence; remember, Einstein didn't even know how many feet were in a mile.
In this article, I'm going to quantify the concept of being an interesting person into five distinct aspects: knowledge acquisition, societal outliers, raconteurism (invented word - interesting people invent words), communication style, work, and the entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2005, the Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharmaceutical Corporation registered Coluracetam and began studying its potential usefulness as an Alzheimer’s disease treatment. Although the results of the company’s clinical trials were not what they had hoped for, there were still some potential benefits associated with this substance. Therefore, BrainCells Inc. took over the licensing for Coluracetam, and they conducted testing that showcased this racetam’s potential as a way to help people who are combating anxiety and major depressive disorder.
